About Gilsey

The men of Gilsey House are unified as brothers. It’s easy to build a strong bond while we are rebuilding our lives, living together. Each of the men in our home put in a ton of work to get to meetings and keep recovery in focus.

Our home is located on a corner lot, with plenty of parking. We have 18 beds and 3 bathrooms. We like to have most meals together, especially on Sundays during our House Family Meeting. We go over our week, discuss any challenges we’ve faced and offer encouragement to grow further.

Every man is assigned a chore each week to keep up on daily. We always do a deep clean each week. We work out together often and help each other strengthen our bodies and our minds. We spend a lot of time keeping up with our recovery action plans so that relapse is not an option.
